Wilrieke Sophia

Exploring Deeper

Wilrieke Sophia has a vision of bringing something to the world that’s so much more than an experience, event or workshops. It's a movement. A place of belonging and exploration. A place for you to find a home, to be amongst friends, to belong. It's also a place to discover new parts of yourself, find the edges of your comfort zone and tiptoe across - for exploration.

Wilrieke is definitely a relationship and intimacy geek. From being a shy and insecure girl, the people she invited into her life took her on a wild ride through the realms of tantra, BDSM & Kink, non-monogamy, healing, shamanism, mindfulness, and meditation. Her horses taught her about empowered leadership and dynamics between individuals based on body language and charisma since she was a child. Now she feels like an empowered woman who is growing and unfolding every day - about which she openly shares through her Social Media channels.

Through her company Exploring Deeper Wilrieke hosts a wide range of workshops, retreats and individual sessions in The Netherlands and the rest of the world. She loves bringing inspiring teachers to The Netherlands. Wilrieke is also a passionate writer, writing for her own blog as well as a guest writer for e.g. Elephant Journal, Postmodern Woman and Rebel Society.

She is the founder of Knuffelworkshops Nederland & België and Cuddle Workshops International, holding teacher trainings and master classes for practitioners and facilitators.

Besides all this, she’s a mother of three daughters and she holds a MSc degree in Forest and Nature Conservation.

Rakesh Mijling

Art of Loving

Raised in the Osho Commune and received his name Swami Deva Rakesh in 1981 by Osho. He kept this name ever since, even after leaving the commune. He traveled throughout India and many times in the Himalaya’s on his journey to self-realization. He is well experienced in Osho meditations, Vipassana, Kriya Yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Buddhist Tantra and Neo-Tantra.

He started his own center Art of Loving in 2007. There he developed Tantric Dance, this is now shared throughout the Netherlands and Belgium for over 10 years by trained teachers and is also sharing this at different festivals worldwide.

For many years he hosted men groups, mixed tantra retreats and since 2017 the Tantra Festival Amsterdam together with his beloved Elfriede. Tantric Dance is a fun and deepening way of self-inquiry.

Elfriede van der Sanden

Art of Loving

A passionate tantrica, with background in the Healing Tao. Together with her partner Rakesh, she brings many beautiful events in this world: like Tantric Dance, Wild Women Day and the Tantra Festival Amsterdam.
For her, it's all about embodiment, bringing the 'new energy' in the body. She is not so much about adding new things to learn, but more about unlearning and surrendering to the not knowing, and to the beingness of the body.

"It is my passion to work with sexual energy, since I feel this is the most powerful transformative tool we have as humans. I hope to meet you in a place of connection and freedom."

In the TANTRIC DANCE you explore both polarities: masculine (guidance) and feminine (surrender). We do this by diving into the body and use breath and movement as our tools to open.

Brechtje Schoofs

Brechtje is a bodyworker and a Taoist alchemist who works with women. She teaches them to come into their pelvis and to develop their own inner alchemy.

Dymphi Peeters

Dymphi is a world music voice artist and voice healer, who accompanies herself on the African kora and creates medicine music. Her music is best described as intuitive meditative world music based on free improvisation and sounds like Mari Boine meets Loreena Mckennitt and Lisa Gerrard.

In an ocean of world music, she stands out – in addition to the special instrumentation of the African Kora – through the great expressiveness in timbres and emotions in her voice that brings to various parts of the world, but also because she sings in an intuitive primal language that invites you to sink with your attention out of your head and into your body. Fans describe her as a “primeval woman” who can touch your heart and soul with her music.

The “Ask your Heart” CD released in 2017 from the unique Mehmet Polat Trio in which she plays the kora, received many international positive reviews from the world music and jazz scene.

January 2019 Dymphi released her solo album: “Gaia” together with with composer and producer Andre Schoorlemmer. She performs as a solo artist, in Dragonfly – Ecstatic Dance Band and in the Mehmet Polat Trio.

The Kora is an old West African harp, originally from Mali. African Kora players are called Griot’s or Jeli’s. With their music and stories, the Griot’s guide the leaders to stay in leadership with themselves and their own feelings and to connect with their inner source to make decisions from there.

In addition to her work as a musician, she focuses on voice work. Voice work is an instrument for expressing and transforming feelings and energy. It is not about beautiful singing, but about expressing in sound what you feel. It works as a kind of energetic cleanup and helps you to liberate yourself and develop your voice and improvisation skills at the same time. It is also called voice expression or voice healing.

“I love my music to bring release and peace and it is my mission to empower women to free their voice”

Jeroen Biegstraaten

Centrum voor Tantra

Always believed that only one form of me would be the right one. What a stress! And what a loss of love and life force. Because I love both Heavy Meta and Mantra, Martial Arts and Tantra. The power of vulnerability. How beautiful that the walls between illusion disappeared and my love for all shapes emerged. Yes!
Since 2007 I am a student of the Centrum voor Tantra in Amsterdam, where I am trainer since 2012. I am founder of Taekwondotraining at Black Bear and combine this for my love of men trainings like: The Lion's Roar and Riding the Tiger. My inspiration comes from the flow of life, from flower to base guitar, from soccer to Vajra and from fire to butterfly. Be everything, don't exclude anything, say 'Yes' and cherish the raw heart. I'm with you.

Alexis is a trained life coach and bodywork therapist, combining Western and Eastern insights and techniques to guide people to more vitality and health. His passion is unlocking the inner wisdom of our thoughts and emotions, our body and our intuition.
